Research and Curriculum Development: During one summer experience, Jim will spend 8 weeks in Barrow, Alaska, to perform research on measurement of exocellular electron transfer in arctic peat soils. This is part of our work funded by NSF. You can read more about Jim's experience in the Cleveland Heights Patch. As part of the PolarTREC expedition he is also developing a curriculum for high-school students.
